Tanto x Cambiare (Time for Change) by Franco Sargiani is a new Italian classic, dressy Alessi watch that features an unique display. The short hand marks the passage of 24 hours while the long hand shows minutes. Such separate hour and minute displays can be seen on old European monastery clocks. On the surface of the case lug is the Alessi logo. From above, the case is an unbroken circle with the winding crown invisible from the top. Sargiani was born in Modena in 1940 and graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Milan Polytechnic. His work ranges from civil architecture to industrial and interior architecture, from industrial design to corporate image organization.
