Detailed Description
The Design House Stockholm Timo Termo glass in black silicone is based on the original design by Timo Sarpaneva. The glass has an outer spiral-shaped layer of silicone which makes it easier to handle it when filled with hot beverages, protecting the hand from the heat; and makes it less slippery when wet. It is also dishwasher-safe. Timo Sarpaneva called the Timo glass his finest glass ever. Made of heat resistant glass, the Timo glass is durable against sudden temperature changes, like when pouring boiling hot coffee into a cold glass. Its mid-section is slightly thicker to prevent hot beverages from burning the hand. The top is slightly inclined to prevent the edge of the glass to be damaged in the dishwasher. The bottom is cone-shaped to fit in both small and big hands. All together it is a perfect example of how form follows function. Capacity 10 fl oz.
The Barbara Carafe in Black is designed by Nina Jobs for Design House Stockholm.

The Design House Stockholm Globe Glass 33cl by Ulla Christiansson with its characteristic smooth round shape and hand-polished base is a design classic.
