Johanna Grawunder, originally from San Diego, CA, studied architecture at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and completed her qualification with a final year in Florence. In the early 1980's she moved to Milan and was hired by Memphis founder Ettore Sottsass. Her intention is not to be aggressive or provocative, but as she says, "to produce work that is ironic and positive". The Millerighe Rollerball Pen cap attaches snugly with a magnetic catch mechanism.
