Tibor Kalman (1949-1999) founded the legendary, multi-disciplinary design firm M&Co in 1979. In collaboration with his wife Maira, they developed a conceptually progressive firm that initially created graphics for magazines, film titles and books. Following the release of an album cover design for the Talking Heads, M&Co gained major attention for their progressive design and became a major influence for emerging designers.
